George Backus & NEON MOON are a 5 piece band based out of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Formed in 1994 (by Joey Ace) the band is carrying on the tradition that Joey wanted. George is the original lead vocalist of the band. The music the band plays is very versatile ... NEW and Traditional Country ( George Jones-Keith Urban ), Music of the 50's & 60's ( Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Jay & the Americans etc. ), Classic Rock ( Wild Cherry, Vanity Fair etc.), Blues, R&B etc. Celebrating their 2014 20th Anniversary Tour they're already picking up some new fan bases around Ontario.
